Are you one of the 3 people that will not require some form of assisted or nursing home care?

In the next 10 years 36,500,000 people will have become 65 years of age.

7 out of 10 of these Americans will require some level of care.  Again, are you one of the seven that will require some type of care, or one of the three that will not?

Some will need this care before they reach age 70, 75 and 80 or older.

These are staggering numbers. But what is more staggering is that most Americans are not thinking about how this Long Term Care and Assisted Living expense will be paid for.

The national average in 2019 for Assisted Living is $4,051 per month.

The national average in 2019 for Nursing Home Assistance is $7,513 per month. (semi-private room)

The days are long gone when Long Term Care insurance was the solution to protecting your retirement savings. Many insurance companies have simply removed themselves from offering traditional policies, and the few that are left are not affordable for most people.

The good news is that in the last decade or so, there are many new products that have come to market that can solve the problem of assisted living and long term care needs.  Either in the form of life insurance or annuities.
